Our Latest Project is this 1959 23 window Samba. The van was used by a small taxi firm in Frankfurt to take people to and from the airport. The van was last used in 1982 when it was bought by a German collector, who is a good friend of mine. The interior of the van was covered by original seat covers from new. When we got the van home we took the covers off to find that the seats were still as new, as were the rubber mats and door panels. Come back soon to check on the progress of our Samba, at the moment it is stripped down and undergoing restoration. |
